About Us

The Knotty Stitchers formed as a general stitch n "talk" type of thing in mid 2010. Our multi-generational group members have a common interest in our various hobbies and love of yarn, thread and fabric. Each member of our group has their own talents and skills. We help each other and share ideas for new projects at each meeting. We do so love to create and will often make items for our family, friends and local charities or those in need. We are always busy stitching away.

Meet The Knotty Stitchers!

Aimee loves fabric, to knit, hand quilt, and crochet with an occasional cross stitch or plastic canvas project thrown in for variety. She is convinced that we can all teach ourselves to knit! Did I mention she might be slightly obsessed with fabric?

Amanda loves to paint anything and everything! She likes to do crafts of all kinds, sew and crochet to her own tune and get outside to putter in her flower gardens. She also finds time to blog occasionally at Amanda's Fun Stuff.

Bea loves making quilts for new and old family members, crocheting, painting, and being very crafty. She also loves to find uncompleted projects at thrift stores, flea markets, and yard sales to finish up and give new life to.

Aunt Edith loves to knit and sew and has been learning to crochet. She is active in Shoe Boxes for Children, book group as well as several other groups.

Henrietta enjoys making quick and fun projects and really does NOT like to make something more than once. She loves both worsted weight yarn and crochet thread projects with an occasional quirky one thrown in. She enjoys blogging about random family moments at A Hen's Nest.
