Spring Thing Reminder and shopping

The sun is shining but don't let it fool you! I went out to feed the animals and my hands were numb by the time I came back in. Brrr! This is the perfect time to dream of spring and to be working on your challenge from the March tenth meeting. All of you had better be working on your projects {insert evil glare at Aimee here}! Just in case you might try and claim forgetfulness or lost papers, here's the info for you again :)

See how helpful I am!

I haven't started on my Spring Thing yet but I did finish sorting through the two huge boxes of fabric I have been hoarding. I fit all of the fabric I am keeping in the new plastic storage drawers I bought last week. It feels good to have everything where I can see it and get to it. Mom received some odds and ends that I didn't want to hang onto anymore so it made her day too.

Also I am so excited about what I bought Saturday when Aimee and I went to lunch and a quick stop at Joann's... I FINALLY bought myself a cutting mat, large ruler and new rotary cutter. They are sewing tools I've always wanted but been to cheap to purchase. Well, the 25% off coupon helped and I just decided to go for it!
Isn't it pretty! Also, I found a few fabrics that I just might be able to use in my Spring Thing Project. What do you think?

I know you will love having it! :) I truly love the fabric you got with the robin blue & nest! Very NICE! I can't hardly see what you do with that! And I've been still thinking on the spring thing to do for myself, I'm still not sure what I will do...it's a surprise anyways..lol

  3. Ahem. After the scurrilous & completely unwarranted evil eye glare from Henrietta, I sat down & whipped out something I've been thinking about making for a long time. I must say, it is awesome. You will all want one :) I think I'm actually going to be making up a bunch more for myself. My Spring Thing is done :)
