A Few More Blocks Done

A few more blocks done (sort of) on the pink quilt. I did cut all of the sashing & will start sewing that on the blocks soon.

I put the finished blocks on the sashing fabric before I cut it, just to get an idea of what it would *sort of* look like when it was done. I like :)

Looky what came in the mail for me :) Encyclopedia Of Pieced Quilt Patterns by Barbara Brackman. A little bit of bookish-quilty awesomeness. I may be able to find a bit of inspiration between the covers of this lovely :)

  1. Love how it's turning out! You'll have to bring your new book to share at the next meeting!

  2. Aimee, I like all the hard work you have put in this quilt, like all the small blocks they are awesome!! all the detail in them!!Love..LOVE >> the lay-out of the complete look of this quilt, with the pink ribbon! I hope that you put into the Albion Fair this year!! :) What are you plans for it? I wouldn't mind having it myself because it was made by you & I really love it...but I would really hope that you can donate it for breast cancer awareness somewhere in our local hospital near us would be so nice! And don't forget to put tag on back, with date;your name, name of quilt..thank-you for being so creative in making this wonderful & beautiful quilt! It's inspiring to me!
