What I'm working on

I've been working on this pretty little baby bonnet using size 10 crochet cotton. This is my absolutely favorite baby bonnet to make as it works up quickly while using different stitches to keep it interesting and, it is beautiful. The bonnet is really easy to change up by using different crochet thread and ribbon colors. Usually I use the little 5 petal silk flowers with the pearl in the center, but these itty bitty roses looked too sweet to pass up. I'm glad I chose them! You can find the pattern in the May 2009 issue of Crochet! It's part of the Christening set on page 33.

I finished the bonnet last night and got a good start on the booties.

I'm hoping to have them finished to share at this week's meeting before sending them off with my aunt to give to her first grand daughter who will be born in May.

What's everyone else been working on?
